Brendan Sheehan brings over 30 years of experience building and scaling profitable ventures across finance, technology, and the cannabis industry. A seasoned entrepreneur and investor, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to raise capital, build high-performing teams, and form enduring partnerships with leading institutional and private investors.
Cannabis & Capital Markets
As the Founder of Greenrose Holdings Company (OTC: GNRS), Brendan led a $172 million capital raise and successfully took the company public via a SPAC transaction in 2021. Under his leadership, Greenrose achieved a $71 million market capitalization and became one of the few profitable operators in the cannabis sector. Now operating privately as Theraplant Connecticut, the company generates over $40 million in annual revenue.
Previously, Brendan was instrumental in raising $20 million for Acreage Holdings (CSE: ACRG), one of the largest U.S. cannabis operators, with operations across 14 states and more than $100 million in revenue.
Finance & Investment
Brendan co-founded Standard Credit Group, a bond trading firm, where he generated $10 million in annual revenuefrom 2004 to 2015. As an Investment Analyst at Mellon HBV Hedge Fund, he identified early-stage investments that yielded exceptional returns, including:

He has also supported and directed investments in DataMinr, a leading fintech intelligence platform.
Technology & Media
In the tech sector, Brendan held senior positions at Speedera Networks, where he launched its streaming media division, driving $1 million in first-year revenue and contributing to its acquisition by Akamai Technologies (Nasdaq: AKAM).
He also founded iFilmMarket.net, pioneering the use of online streaming media technology to market Hollywood films—an early innovation in digital content distribution.
Education
Brendan holds a BA from Yale University and an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
